The department aims to ensure 100% syllabus coverage within the specified period, achieving a 100% pass rate in all external examinations. To reach these objectives, the department has developed a comprehensive program to professionalize its offerings by incorporating professional courses alongside primary courses.

Message from the Head of Department (HOD)

Welcome to the Business and Entrepreneurship Department, one of the eight academic departments at The Nyamira National Polytechnic.

Our graduates find employment in the following sectors:

• County Governments of Kenya
• Learning institutions such as secondary schools, tertiary institutions, and universities
• Banks and SACCOs

The department offers a wide variety of courses at both academic and professional levels, examined by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) and the Curriculum Development Assessment and Certification Council (CDACC).
