Message from HOD

Welcome to the Computing & Informatics Department. We are delighted to welcome you to the Computing and Informatics Department at The Nyamira National Polytechnic – a place where your passion meets purpose. Here, we nurture innovators, problem-solvers, and change-makers ready to shape the digital future and make a real difference in the world.

Our programs follow Modularized Training, meaning your learning journey is structured into smaller, skill-focused modules, each assessed and certified individually. This flexible approach allows you to progress at your own pace, train part-time while working or managing other responsibilities, pause and resume learning without starting over, and gain employable skills early before returning later to upgrade or specialize. It ensures you can build your qualifications step-by-step while meeting the demands of today’s fast-changing world.

Whether you want to advance in Information Communication Technology, excel in Information Science, or make a lasting impact through Social Work & Community Development, we equip you with practical, industry-aligned skills for both employment and entrepreneurship. Your journey toward an impactful and fulfilling career starts here.
