Responsibilities and Vision

The Office of the Registrar at our institution plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of student admissions and records. The primary responsibilities of this office include:

Maintaining an Updated Admissions Register

The Registrar’s office is responsible for keeping a comprehensive and up-to-date register of all admitted trainees. This register is essential for tracking enrolment status and ensuring that all records are accurate and readily available for administrative purposes.

Coordinating and Executing Admissions

The office meticulously plans, coordinates, and executes the admissions process for all training programs offered at the polytechnic. This involves ensuring that all qualified trainees are admitted in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to the institution’s standards and requirements.

Maintaining Trainee Files

One of the critical duties of the Registrar’s office is to maintain detailed trainee files. These files include a wide range of information such as bio data, previous academic documents, academic progress, and discipline reports. Keeping these records updated is vital for monitoring each trainee’s journey and providing the necessary support and interventions when needed.

Coordinating Outreach Programs

The office also plays a significant role in planning and coordinating outreach programs. These programs are designed to promote the polytechnic’s training offerings and attract prospective trainees. The Registrar’s office ensures that all relevant materials for publicity are prepared and disseminated effectively to reach a broader audience.
